After careful deliberation, the VSME team has decided to post pone our March event at Toronto Striking Academy to another date later this year.
We must all do our part in preventing the spread of this virus, especially when most people who have it, may not be aware. This is very dangerous for the elderly people in our communities, and we must keep them all in mind.
Please ensure you stay at home, wash your hands, and most important, refrain from training. We all love jiujitsu, but without our health, and our healthy training partners, there is no jiujitsu.
Please be sure you are getting information from reliable sources, like the government’s web site at http://canada.ca/coronavirus
Here are ways Canadians can help protect their families:
. Wash your hands frequently for at least 20 seconds.
. Monitor for symptoms, like a fever and dry cough.
. Cough and sneeze into the bend of your arm, not in your hands.
. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with your hands.
We will continue to monitor the situation and announce new dates in the coming weeks.
If you purchased a ticket for the Toronto Striking Academy, your registration will be moved along to the new date, which will be in July.
Thank you for the understanding and continued support.
